Montgomery County Action council (MCAC) is excited to welcome Riley Lukomski as its new Executive Director effective September 6 th . It will be Riley’s chief focus to build off the momentum Montgomery County currently has while also seeking out new opportunities for the county. With Riley at the helm, MCAC will continue to be a great community partner and a valuable resource for our business community.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to be coming to Montgomery County. With such a strong foundation and rich opportunity to grow, I look forward to getting to know the community and its residents to clearly establish economic development initiatives and then aggressively pursue them. I greatly enjoyed my visit to Montgomery County with all its kind-hearted people and fun community environment. I am looking forward to calling Montgomery County home.”

Riley comes to us all the way from Michigan where he previously served as an economic development manager for an economic development organization at Market Van Buren and is a graduate from Western Michigan University. Market Van Buren is an organization with a great track record of success, and Riley spent time working for award winning economic development leader Zach Morris. Riley brings experience both leading and supporting different retention, attraction, expansion, and housing projects. In his free time, Riley is looking forward to taking advantage of the hiking trails, fishing holes and community events that Montgomery County has to offer.

MCAC was very fortunate over the last year to have both Rep. Jim Kelly and Tom Simpson as interim directors and would like to thank them both for their time and hard work. A huge thank you also goes out to our administrative assistant Kathy Thompson and our SBDC representative Laura Keller for all their hard work over the last year. MCAC President Joe Long said, “We are very excited for the energy, perspective, and passion that Riley will bring to our organization and community”.
