MCAC Welcomes Lagaly as Communications and Special Projects Coordinator

July 18, 2024

Montgomery County Action Council is pleased to introduce Maren Lagaly as our Communications and Special Projects Coordinator. Maren joined the MCAC team on July 8. She is a Kansas native and K State alum who is passionate about enhancing quality of life in the community she calls home.

“We are excited to have Maren join our team so we can keep the positive momentum going with our talent recruitment and retention initiative and to increase services available to our existing businesses and industry,” said Melissa Johnson, Executive Director for MCAC. “Maren possesses the skills and talents we’re looking for when recruiting young professionals to Montgomery County. Her leadership and professional experience are assets for our organization and for our county,” continued Johnson.

Maren got married and relocated to Montgomery County this summer. Previously she had been living in Wichita and was employed at the Kansas Leadership Center. In her spare time, Maren likes to spend time with family, garden and hike. She recently hiked in Glacier National Park on her honeymoon!

Stop by and visit Maren at the MCAC office, 115 S. 6th Street, Independence, KS, or look for her out and about in Montgomery County. To learn more about Montgomery County Action Council, visit our website: www.actioncouncil.com or give us a call: 620-331-3830.
