Discount Delights Opened in Cherryvale, KS

Cherryvale now has greater access to affordable grocery options right within the community! Discount Delights, located at 218 W. Main Street in Cherryvale, opened in mid-December and is owned and operated by Jonathan Beth.

The store offers a wide selection of shelf-stable essentials, including canned goods, snacks, cereals, noodles, baking items, and beverages—making everyday groceries more accessible and budget-friendly for local families. “Based on the work I’ve done in other communities, I really felt like Cherryvale would benefit from a discount grocer,” Beth said.

Even more is coming soon. By early February, the addition of coolers and freezers will allow the store to offer refrigerated and frozen staples, including milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, and meats.

This expansion is a meaningful step toward improving food availability and reducing the need for residents to travel outside of Cherryvale for basic groceries — keeping food access local, convenient, and affordable!
