Welcoming MCAC’s New Members: Our 12 Days of Members Celebration

December is a season of fresh beginnings—new memories, new traditions, and new celebrations. Here at MCAC, we embrace that spirit by honoring the new additions to our community. This year, we’re excited to recognize the members who joined us for the first time in 2025. We hope you’ve already felt welcomed and have begun to experience everything MCAC has to offer. 

Advanced Physical Therapy

Advanced Physical Therapy is a private physical-therapy clinic located at 118 W. Main St. in Independence, KS. They offer a wide range of treatments — from orthopedic and sports rehab to pelvic-floor therapy, aquatic therapy, dry needling, and balance/vestibular therapy — tailoring individualized plans to help patients recover, improve mobility, and manage pain.

Azure 

Azure Sustainable Fuels is a company dedicated to developing production facilities for renewable fuels — especially Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) — to help reduce carbon emissions from air travel. By providing a “drop-in” replacement for conventional jet fuel that can cut emissions by up to ~80%, Azure aims to make aviation more environmentally sustainable without requiring airlines to change their engines. 

Conway and Ballew Enterprises, LLC 

Conway and Ballew Enterprises, LLC is a family owned and operated brand in Montgomery County. Previously they owned Brother’s Railroad in, an Italian restaurant in Independence, this is where their famous homemade Bleu Cheese Dressing was born- which is still being produced and can be purchased at Sawyers Fine Wine & Spirits in Independence. 

Edward Jones Investments- Sam Hilger, Financial Advisor 

Sam Hilger is a financial advisor based in Independence, KS, operating out of the Edward Jones office at 320 N Penn Ave. Sam Hilger’s services include retirement planning and income strategies, estate and legacy planning, wealth-building strategies, and portfolio reviews. The office is open Monday through Friday and accepts new clients! 

Farm Bureau Financial Services: Anna Lawless 

Farm Bureau Financial Services – Anna Lawless is an insurance and financial-services agency located at 217 W Myrtle St, Independence, KS. The agency offers a broad range of coverage and financial services — including auto, home, life, farm/ranch, business and health insurance, as well as investments, retirement planning, and wealth-management services. 

Imperial 

Imperial is a vending-machine, micro-market, and office-coffee service provider operating out of 1112 W 12th St, Coffeyville, KS. Imperial serves a broad territory including Southeast Kansas (and surrounding regions), offering snack machines, beverage machines, fresh food and healthy-option vending, micro-markets, on-site coffee service, water/ice & hydration solutions, and 24/7 convenience for workplaces needing break-room refreshment. 

MPAC Aviation Services, LLC

MPAC Aviation Services, LLC is a locally owned aviation-service provider based in Independence, Kansas. The company specializes in overhaul management for turbine-engine accessories — covering fuel, oil, air, and electrical components for engines such as Pratt & Whitney Canada and Rolls‑Royce M250 turbines. MPAC works by coordinating overhauls through FAA/EASA-approved shops, reviewing inspection reports, offering cost-saving alternatives to new parts when possible, and helping clients reduce maintenance costs — whether for a single unit or multiple engine accessories.

Nordic Turbine Services 

Nordic Turbine Service is a jet-engine repair and maintenance company based at 3848 West Main Street, Independence, Kansas 67301.They specialize in the repair, airworthiness inspection, and technical support for the Pratt & Whitney J52 — the jet engine used in certain military aircraft. In addition to J52 overhauls, Nordic Turbine Service offers manufacturing-engineering support for clients, including planning for work orders, tooling, and ERP systems support. 

Rocky Top Meats, LLC

Rocky Top Meats, LLC is a family-owned farm and meat-retail operation based in Havana, Kansas. They raise their own beef (from cow/calf operations) and also procure hogs from another local Kansas producer; all meat is processed at USDA-inspected facilities.

Sawyers Fine Wine & Spirits 

Sawyer's Fine Wine & Spirits is a retail liquor store located at 101 W Main St, Independence, KS 67301. They carry beer, wine, spirits, mixers — and they also offer a selection of premium cigars. 

VSE Aviation 

VSE Aviation is a global aerospace support company that provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services — as well as parts distribution and supply-chain management — for commercial, cargo, business/general aviation, rotorcraft, and military aircraft worldwide. Their facility in Independence, Kansas — formerly known as Kansas Aviation — specializes in overhauls and repairs of oil, air, fuel, and electrical-related engine accessories for many turbine engines.
