Community State Bank
Community State Bank is committed to the local community and is Coffeyville's
only locally owned and operated bank.
Community State Bank, originally known as Coffeyville State Bank, was founded in 1967 by a group of Coffeyville investors led by F. C. “Coke” Harlow.
In the 1970s, the bank was sold to a group of investors led by Mrs. Bobbie Needham. In the 1980s, the bank was sold to a group of investors led by Don Donaldson and the Cook family.
In 1996, the bank changed its name to Community State Bank. In 1998, the bank moved to its current location. In 2003, the bank was purchased by a group of Coffeyville investors led by Mike Ewy.
In November 2013, Community State Bank acquired Condon Bank & Trust. Condon Bank has national recognition for its role in the 1892 raid by the infamous Dalton Gang who attempted to rob both the C.M. Condon Bank and the First National Bank at the same time but were defeated by the citizens of Coffeyville.
